Elise Wong
BAAS, MArch
Elise joined Rodic Davidson after completing her Part I at The University of Hong Kong, and her Part II at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Her diploma projects delved into the practical and conceptual aspects in facilitating adaptive reuse, while exploring time and obsolescence in architecture through a continuous regeneration framework.
Before joining Rodic Davidson, Elise gained experience as a Part I Architectural Assistant working at practices in Hong Kong where she worked on multiple scale public, institutional and social projects. Elise is particularly interested in outreach projects, having previously worked on a public pavilion that incorporated user engagement workshops within the community. She also has hands-on building experience in rural Japan and China, where she advocated for communal and cultural values through material reuse and collective design involvement.
Outside of architecture, Elise enjoys travelling, bouldering and photography.
