Our Interior Projects

Townhouse, Notting Hill

Our intervention expresses the evolution of the building, with a grand ground and first floor crafted in a more traditional style. As you make your way up the design becomes more contemporary, arriving at a modern, paired-back interior within the new mansard extension. The works retain the property’s original fireplaces and restore original cornicing, ceiling roses and fibrous plaster details, with secondary spaces hidden behind concealed doors. The property was sensitively renovated to enhance the historic character of the townhouse, with modern additions allowing bright, clean contemporary spaces to emerge. Private House, Chelsea

Working closely with Janie Lightfoot Textiles Conservation and Mavvaert, we created a succession of experience spaces over a split-level plan. Each room would adopt a consistent material palette of natural stone and glazing.  Meaningfully, the textile designers’ emphasis on style and material substance makes itself felt from element to element, accents of nickel, bronze, and copper finding currency in the balustrade for the principal stair, the bathroom fixtures, and the advanced kitchen design. Our Interior design process

Stage One- interior appraisal and concepts

We work with our clients throughout the project design process to create bespoke and practical spaces. The starting point for any project is to carefully understand our clients lifestyle, their preferences and their inspirations. Throughout this stage we will discuss the project concept in detail and work with you to define the brief. During this stage our interior design architect team will:

– Receive the survey information and prepare concept design with floor plan options

-Produce concept design for individual rooms, including the look and feel of furniture, materials palettes, finishes, joinery and sanitary ware

– Produce key interiors and illustrations to communicate the design at early stages, and assist clients to engage with the spaces

Stage Two and Three- concept design and design development

During these stages the design concept evolves into more detailed proposals which include

-Floor plans, interior elevations and reflected ceiling plans

-Materials and finishes selection from our material library

-Furniture plans and development of look and feel

Stage 4- technical information and specification

Our architect and interior design team prepare complete documentation including written schedules for ironmongery, sanitaryware, wall, ceiling and floor finishes.

Stage 5- Construction and furniture installation

The final stage of the project, where after all the planning, sketching and meetings, construction work begins and the we bring the vision to life. Throughout this phase, we will regularly visit site to answer any questions related to the design or drawings and ensure that construction is aligned with the approved drawings and vision.

Our material Library

We work to create a timeless, elegant atmosphere, with a focus and interest in craftsmanship and materials. Our extensive in-house material library gives our clients access to a wide range of samples, allowing a tactile design experience and introducing them to materials not yet discovered. Each home is tailored to the way our clients live and is delivered by our talented network of craftsman and suppliers.

Our experience allows us to provide full interior design services including lighting design, sourcing elements including ironmongery and sanitaryware and designing bespoke joinery, furniture and metalwork.
