Works are progressing well on our Grade II listed townhouse project, located within the St John’s Wood Conservation Area. The scheme combines preservation of the existing building, with modern living. The project includes the addition of a rear extension, creating a new spatial connection between the interior living spaces and the landscaped garden.
As part of the internal works, we are undertaking the construction of a new basement level, a significant intervention that maximises the floor area. This lower-ground space will house a luxurious private swimming pool. A key feature of the basement design is the incorporation of two large walk-on roof lights. These are carefully positioned to allow natural light into the lower level and also create a visual connection between the garden and the interior spaces.
