Rodić Davidson is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at this year’s Cityscape Global conference at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre in Saudi Arabia.

As part of the RIBA’s official contingent, the practice will be demonstrating the potential for investing in London real estate, and in home-grown architectural expertise, building on the success of recent Government investment summits designed to stimulate growth in the UK economy.

Riyadh is a young and dynamic city which has experienced unparalleled rates of population growth, from 150,000 people in the 1960s to more than seven million today. Some of the most interesting contributions to contemporary architecture are located within the city’s boundaries, including the Kingdom Centre, the KAFD Conference Centre, and the stations of the Riyadh Metro, as well as historic sites like Diryah. It is as much an opportunity area for RIBA-accredited British-based architects as it is a source for foreign direct investment in London markets. For this reason, Rodić Davidson is approaching the event with an open mind, prepared to take on new challenges and ideas.

This will be the first time the RDA team has made a physical appearance in the Kingdom, connecting with Western and domestic stakeholders at the region’s most influential real estate event, but the practice has a history of supporting Saudi investors in realising their architecture and interior design ambitions. For more than fifteen years, it has worked with family offices and private clients looking to establish themselves in prime areas of the British capital, crafting distinctive, high-specification apartments, mixed-use developments, and single-family homes.

What this event represents is an opportunity to expand the scope of the service delivered, reassuring visitors to the conference that their Knightsbridge, Belgravia, or Mayfair homes, their properties in cities in North America, Europe, and East Asia, and their principal residences on the Arabian Peninsula can all enjoy the same high level of finish. The intention is to bring the Rodić Davidson approach to design, which foregrounds the client brief whilst also unlocking the potential of specialist materials, crafts, and technologies, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
