Directors

BA(Hons), Dip Arch, RIBA

Ben trained in private practice in South West London before moving to Marylebone Warwick Balfour PLC, the then owner of Liberty of London and Hotel du Vin. He worked on a number of residential, retail and hotel projects including a major proposal for the grade 2* listed Liberty store on Great Marlborough Street.

Ben established bdAr Architects and Designers in 2006 (changing its name to Rodić Davidson Architects in 2012). The practice has grown steadily year on year largely by developing and maintaining long-term and trusted relationships with clients. Ben believes passionately that a rigorous commercial understanding should underpin every project and that good design can contribute real value.

Ben has Director responsibility for a number of the projects in the practice and is also responsible, with Sinisa, for business development along with day-to-day practice management.

Ben is inspired by craftsmanship and fascinated by the practical aspects of construction. He is also excited by entrepreneurship and by the contribution that an architect can make to the whole development process.

Ben studied at Birmingham School of Architecture (BA Hons) and University of Westminster (Dip Arch), has been a visiting lecturer in architecture and has taught at the University of the Arts. Ben is ARB registered and a member of the RIBA.
